Depending on arrival time, we will visit the small atelier of Damian, a young collector of traditional costumes and tailor responsible for creating the authentic outfits worn by participants in the Galichnik Wedding — a fascinating introduction to the visual richness of the event. SKOPJE – TETOVO – MAVROVO – GALICHNIK – MAVROVO | 11.07.2026 (Saturday)
______________________________________________________________________________ After breakfast, departure to Tetovo to visit the famous Painted Mosque, a unique architectural masterpiece inspired by oriental artistic traditions. We continue towards Mavrovo, a picturesque village located on the shores of Lake Mavrovo, one of the most beautiful mountain regions in North Macedonia. Traditional lunch with a local family, offering an authentic culinary experience. Hotel check-in in Mavrovo. In the afternoon, we proceed to the village of Galichnik, the heart of the wedding tradition. Along the way, our guide will introduce the history, symbolism, rituals, and protagonists of this remarkable event.
