Casablanca — Marrakesh
Your guide meets you at Casablanca Airport. After lunch at a halal restaurant, the group visits the Mosque of Hassan II before the transfer to Marrakesh (3 hours).
Marrakesh
After breakfast, the day covers the Bahia Palace, the Menara Gardens, the Banu Saad Mausoleum, and the historic medina with its covered bazaar. Free time at the Koutubia Mosque and Jamaa Elfnaa follows in the afternoon.
Marrakesh — Rabat — Fez
After breakfast, the group transfers to Rabat (4 hours). A tour covers the Old Medina, the Kasbah of the Udayas, the Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Muhammad V. Free time at the bazaar precedes the transfer to Fez (2 hours) for the night.
Fez — Tangier
After breakfast, a guided tour of Fez — a city settled by Andalusian Muslim refugees in the 9th century. Visits include the Andalusian quarter, the Chouwara leather tannery, Mosque Al-Qarawiyyin, Bab Bou Jeloud gate, the Royal Palace, and the Mausoleum of Mulay Idris II. The group then transfers to Tangier (5 hours).
Tangier — Strait of Gibraltar — Seville
After breakfast, the fast ferry crosses the Strait of Gibraltar from Tangier, following the route of Tariq ibn Ziyad in 711 AD. The afternoon in Seville covers the Royal Alcazar, the Giralda Tower (former minaret where the muezzin called the adhan on horseback), the Muslim quarters, and Plaza España.
Seville — Cordoba
After breakfast, a guided morning in Cordoba: the Mosque of Cordoba, the Bridge of Musa ibn Nusayr, the Calahorra Tower, and the Andalusi House. Lunch is followed by free time in the medieval old quarters for shopping and exploration.
Cordoba — Medinat Al-Zahra — Granada
After breakfast, a visit to Medinat Al-Zahra — the city-palace of the Umayyad Caliphate at its 10th-century peak. The group travels to Granada via the Route of the Caliphate, passing Muslim towers and castles. The evening explores the Albayzin Muslim quarter, the Grand Mosque of Granada, and the Moroccan Bazaar.
Granada — Alhambra — Alpujarra Mountains
After breakfast, a guided visit to the Alhambra — the Nasrid Palaces and their Arabic inscriptions, followed by the story of the fall of the last Muslim kingdom. The afternoon follows the route of Sultan Boabdil into the Alpujarra Mountains: the Nasrid Bridge, the Tower of Lanjaron, and the centuries-old irrigation channels built under Muslim rule.
Granada — Toledo — Madrid
After breakfast, the group travels to Toledo (4 hours). Visits include the Mosque of Bab al-Mardum (10th century), the Damascene craft workshops, and Zocodover Square. The route continues to Madrid, with a panoramic evening tour: Royal Palace, Santiago Bernabeu, and Puerta del Sol.
Madrid — Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Madrid Airport.
