Your Journey

01

Casablanca — Marrakesh

Your guide meets you at Casablanca Airport. A halal restaurant lunch is followed by a visit to the Mosque of Hassan II — the third-largest mosque in the world, built on a promontory above the Atlantic. The group then transfers to Marrakesh (3 hours).

02

Marrakesh — Rabat

After breakfast, the morning covers the Bahia Palace, the Menara Gardens, and the historic medina bazaar. Free time is given for the Koutubia Mosque and Jamaa Elfnaa square before the transfer to Rabat (4 hours).

03

Rabat — Tangier

After breakfast, a walking tour of Rabat covers the Old Medina, the Kasbah of the Udayas, the Hassan Tower (an unfinished 12th-century minaret), and the Mausoleum of Muhammad V. Lunch is followed by free time at the bazaar before the transfer to Tangier (3 hours).

04

Tangier — Strait of Gibraltar — Seville

After breakfast, the group boards the fast ferry from Tangier, crossing the Strait of Gibraltar (Yabal Tariq) to Tarifa — the same passage taken by Tariq ibn Ziyad in 711 AD. After arrival in Seville (2.5 hours from Tarifa), the afternoon visits the Royal Alcazar, the Giralda Tower (the former minaret of the main mosque), the Muslim quarters, and Plaza España.

05

Seville — Cordoba — Granada

After breakfast, a guided visit to the Mosque of Cordoba, the Bridge of Musa ibn Nusayr, and the Calahorra Tower, followed by lunch. The transfer to Granada leads to an evening in the Albayzin — the medieval Muslim quarter — with panoramic views across to the Alhambra and a stop at the Grand Mosque of Granada.

06

Granada — Alhambra — Madrid

After breakfast, a guided visit to the Alhambra — the best-preserved medieval Muslim royal palace in the world. Your guide walks through the Nasrid Palaces, explaining the Arabic inscriptions of Qur'anic verses and poetry, and recounts the story of the fall of the last Muslim kingdom in Granada. Lunch en route, then a transfer to Madrid (4.5 hours) with panoramic stops at the Royal Palace, Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, and Puerta del Sol.
