Your Journey

01

Madrid — Toledo

Your guide meets you at Madrid Airport and transfers to Toledo (1 hour). A panoramic bus tour of Toledo is followed by a walking visit to Zocodover Square, the Damascene workshops on the Street of Commerce, and the former Mosque of Bab Al-Mardum — one of the oldest surviving mosques in the Iberian Peninsula. The group returns to Madrid for the night.

02

Madrid — Cordoba

After breakfast, the group travels south through La Mancha (4 hours) to Cordoba, the capital of Al-Andalus for over 300 years. The afternoon covers the Great Mosque of Cordoba (Masjid Qurtuba), the Roman Bridge, the Calahorra Tower, and remnants of the medieval Muslim city. The evening visits the interactive Museum of Al-Andalus, featuring scholars such as Ibn Rushd and Maimonides.

03

Cordoba — Medinat Al-Zahra — Seville

After breakfast, a guided visit to Madinat Az Zahra — the 10th-century city-palace of Caliph Abderrahman III, now a UNESCO archaeological site. The route continues to Seville: the Royal Alcazar (built entirely in Muslim architecture), the Giralda Tower (the former minaret where the muezzin called the adhan on horseback), and the Barrio de Santa Cruz, the original Muslim quarter. The evening walk follows the Guadalquivir River.

04

Seville — Ronda — Granada

After breakfast, the group travels to Ronda (2 hours): the medieval Muslim bridge, panoramic viewpoints over the gorge, and the city walls dating from the Moorish period. Ronda was the birthplace of the Sufi master Ibn Abbas Al-Rundi. The route continues to Granada, where the evening explores the Albayzin Muslim quarter, the Grand Mosque, Plaza Nueva, and the banks of the Darro River.

05

Granada — Alhambra — Madrid

After breakfast, a guided visit to the Alhambra — the best-preserved medieval Muslim royal palace in the world. Your guide walks through the royal chambers of the Nasrid dynasty, founded by Muhammad al-Ahmar, explaining the Arabic inscriptions of Qur'anic verses and poetry. Lunch on the road, then a return to Madrid (4.5 hours). The evening includes a panoramic city drive: Bernabeu Stadium, Royal Palace, Cibeles Fountain, Alcala Gate, and a walk through Puerta del Sol.

06

Madrid — Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Madrid Airport.
