Your Journey

01

Zurich — Arrival

Your private driver meets you at Zurich Airport and transfers you to your city hotel. The rest of the evening is free — Zurich's lakeside and old town are within easy walking distance.

02

Lucerne — Gotthard Panorama Express — Lugano

A 2-hour guided walking tour of Lucerne covers Chapel Bridge, the Lion Monument, the Picasso Museum, the Reuss River promenade, and the old town squares. You then board the Gotthard Panorama Express: first a paddle steamer across the full length of Lake Lucerne from the city to Flüelen (2h 30m), then a panoramic train through the Gotthard corridor to Italian-speaking Ticino (2h 30m). The landscape shifts from Alpine granite to the palm trees and terracotta rooftops of the lake district as you arrive in Lugano.

03

Lugano

A 2-hour guided walk through Lugano's old town covers the Italianate piazzas, the lakeside promenade, the Cattedrale di San Lorenzo, the covered market lanes, and the Parco Ciani waterfront gardens. The afternoon is spent at Swissminiatur in Melide (10 minutes from Lugano) — an open-air museum with 120 scale models of Swiss landmarks and working replicas of mountain railways across 14,000 m².

04

Lugano — Tirano — Bernina Express — St. Moritz

Your driver transfers you to Tirano in northern Italy (1h 30m) — the historic chief town of Valtellina in the province of Sondrio. Free time to walk the old town and the Basilica di Madonna di Tirano precedes the Bernina Express (1st class, approximately 2h 30m): the red UNESCO World Heritage railway climbs from 429 m in Tirano to 2,253 m at Ospizio Bernina, crossing the Brusio circular viaduct and tracking glaciers and high passes to St. Moritz in the Engadin.

05

St. Moritz — Free Day

A free day in St. Moritz. The included Ovaverva thermal baths have indoor and outdoor mineral-spring pools with Engadin valley views. The Engadine Museum, the Segantini Museum, the lake walk, and the village are all within easy reach.

06

St. Moritz — Vaduz — Zurich

Your driver collects you at 09:00 for a journey through the Rhine Valley and eastern Switzerland to Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein. A guided walking tour covers the town centre, the old Rhine waterfront, and Vaduz Castle (Schloss Vaduz) on the cliff above — official residence of the Princely Family. The Tourist Office stamps your passport as a souvenir (CHF 3, payable locally). A private transfer to Zurich follows.

07

Zurich — Departure

After breakfast, your driver transfers you to Zurich Airport.
